Assessment after ChatGPT
How assessment can remain valid, fair and useful when generative AI can produce much of what education has traditionally assessed. I can include the AI Assessment Scale and examples of its use.

Responsible AI adoption
How institutions can move beyond bans and vague principles toward practical governance, equitable implementation and trustworthy use.

Equity in AI and assessment
How access, infrastructure, language and institutional capacity shape AI use in education, drawing on my research on perceptions of generative AI in the Global South.

AI in research
How researchers can use generative AI in qualitative research for tasks such as coding, thematic analysis and interpretation, while protecting research integrity, documenting human judgement and disclosing AI use clearly.
I can also speak on any area of my research, including academic integrity, AI detection, synthetic media and deepfakes, digital transformation, governance and AI-enhanced pedagogy.
